A 6 course lute, my design after Magno Dieffopruchar. 9 ribbed back in quilted and flamed figured maple, plain oiled cherry neck, cherry pegbox, pear wood pegs, Osage Orange fingerboard, plum wood bridge, extra fine haselfichte or bearclaw Carpathian spruce top, Nylgut strings with Red basses.58.8 mm mensur. With an excellent hard case by Damian Yost. $5200.00

Osage Orange is a wonderful wood for lutherie applications, it is extremely hard and as a tonewood it has been compared to Brazilian rosewood. The color mellows into a lovely russet red.
