Sitar #2

A sitar inspired by early 20th century models before the Ravi Shankar style became popular. These kachuwa (“tortoise”) form sitars have a wide, almost circular soundboard which gives a fine big sound and projection combined with the soundhole. All mahogany construction, moose antler bridges, African blackwood fittings, goncalo alves (tiger wood) pegs, stainless steel frets, natural gourds. This sitar uses my tailpiece design with multiple brass pins for the string loops, a big improvement on traditional construction. $7900.00
I’m not a pro sitarist, but here’s a sound demo.
